Fresh of the success of Hyde Park Residence 1, which completed in 2008 by the Iguana Group Co.,Ltd working in conjunction with Matrix Developments Co.,Ltd the Developers overall intention was to build 2 separate, 8-story, low-rise projects on the same plot of land with the aforementioned project being the 1st phase of a 2 phase operation. Whereas Hyde Park Residence 1 is located towards the rear of the site furtherest away from the road, Hyde Park Residence 2 which was completed in late 2009 was built directly in front of Hyde Park Residence 1 and is situated towards the front of the site nearest the road.
At a quick glance, the 2 low-rise buildings appear to be identical but that’s not the case as the Developer made several minor adjustments and improvements along the way based on lessons learn’t from the 1st phase of construction. As such one cannot deny that Hyde Park Residence 2 is the better building in my humble opinion precisely for the aforementioned reasons.
Aside from the buildings modern architectural appearance and highly strategic location alongside Thappraya 4 Alley in South Pattaya, with the main Pattaya-Jomtien baht bus route being quite literally on your doorstep Hyde Park Residence 2 also has an impressive array of amenities. These include such things as a rooftop communal swimming pool, a fully-equipped rooftop gymnasium together with Male & Female change-rooms with toilets, showers and saunas. In addition to several onsite commercial shop units, the building also has a very pleasant private lobby entrance and reception area and last but not least ample provision for car-parking in the 1st floor covered car-park together with more traditional amenities such as 24 Hour security with key card access & CCTV cameras that one would normally expect from a project of this calibre and price range.
As for the individual apartments themselves, the project is comprised of 111 units ranging in size from entry level, 35 square meter studios followed by slightly larger 40 square meter studios and 56 to 76 square meter, 1 bedroom apartments with the biggest apartments being 97 square meter, 2 bedroom apartments.
Hyde Park Residence 2 was completed in Qtr 3, 2009.
